Does being a photographer make you an observer and take you out of the moment?
I’m paraphrasing, but I do think this is somewhat true. There are places that I have experienced almost entirely through the view-finder and I can’t decide if those experiences were made better or worse by the omnipresence of the camera. I suppose I don’t always have to think in absolutes :)
